COURTESY IS CONTAGIOUS
Last week, I introduced you to Kathy Fern, manager of the original Winstead's on the Plaza. She and her staff always serve me with a smile. And they say 'please' and 'thank you' to each other. Wow! And it is contagious.
Being courteous can be challenging when we are pressed for time. But how much more time does it take to say 'please' or 'thank you'?
EXERCISE
Next time you are struggling to be courteous to a fellow employee, family member or friend, I invite you to remind yourself that it takes such little effort to say please or thank you. Then say the 'please' or the 'thank you' or some other expression of courtesy. Notice how it affects the other person and you.

The first 5 people who apply the maxim that "courtesy is contagious"
will receive a free skyscraper courteous of Kathy. To be eligible,
please phone or email me by July 12th. THANK YOU!
