We've been focusing on change and fear. In facing change, we can let fear rob us of our power to make good decisions and our power to be creative. We need to remind ourselves that the fear is often just False Evidence Appearing Real. Reflection: Is there a way to get rid of such "fear"? Yes.

EXERCISE
|
This week when faced with fear or anxiety, I invite you to do an exercise I use with my coaching clients. Write down what is happening to you and then place it in a jar, can, or a box (be creative) and put it out of sight.
Make this a ritual and tell that container that you are going to just set it aside for awhile. Observe how you feel and what later happens. You will probably find you are much more creative and balanced.

I saw this tips jar at a coffee shop.
It reads, 'if you fear change, leave it here.'
