FAILURE
We have been talking about change producing fear and the root of fear is often a fear of failure.  Keep in mind, "a guy who never made a mistake never did anything."

The way to success is usually paved with so-called "Failures."  But are they really failures?

Abraham Lincoln lost several elections.  Edison experimented for 2 years before he discovered a usable filament for the electric light bulb.  Marconi was committed to a mental institution when he talked about a wireless transmission of sound.  All these people knew that the only real failure is the one from which we learn nothing.

EXERCISE
This week, I invite you to think of a frustrating project that you have been working on for a long time and perhaps procrastinating on.  Instead of telling yourself  you have failed  at this, choose to give yourself the Edison self-talk quote below.  I invite you to share your success with someone or me.
