CONFUSION & CHANGE
We have been reflecting on changed in our lives.  Now let's reflect on how changes in other people's lives affect us.

It is easy to find examples when the other person is someone very close to us ("our signifcant persons").  So let's shift to people we work with, worship with, or socialize at a less intimate level which we will call "second tier persons."
Sometimes we are disturbed or confused by what they may say or do.

EXERCISE
Think of some difficult changes in your own life.  Of course, you do not share those with your "second tier" relationships; yet these changes do affect how you deal or relate to those people.  This week, be attentive to the fact that there are good "second tier" people who are probably experiencing different changes in their lives and see if that helps you be more tolerant and patient.  Of course, you can always share your experience with me.
