ARE YOUR GOALS LEFTOVERS?

Are your New Year's goals leftovers from prior years?  If so, ask yourself, "Why haven't I kept my promises?"  There are usually two reasons.  It is not that important to you now or you do not know how to achieve it.

If it is not important, then just delete it.  If the goal is important, then just pick one goal and declare confidently to yourself, "Help is on the way."

EXERCISE

4 Steps for HELP, which I call the D.W.I.P.

Define your goal with specificity

Write it down

Invite someone to regularly hold you accountable.  Do not choose a friend because a friend will buy your excuses

Practice, practice and practice whatever your goals are

This DWIP is a proven coaching strategy.  Let me know your success on this and let me know your plan for being held accountable.  I'll be glad to help you strategize on this accountability.
