What an amazing time of year this is - all of the holiday buzz in the air (and still no snow - yeah from this sun worshipper!)

The Holidays are in the Air
The holiday music started today at lunch and our fabulous decorations (thanks to the most talented Leonard Teengs) went up last week. We are certainly ready for all of the parties and celebrations this month.
Our 3 course holiday menus have been very well received (and digested!) for parties of 8 or more. We still have a few openings during the weekdays just in case anyone has left their planning to the last minute. Please call either Penny or Tamara to see if we can help you get your group together this month.

Ladies Get-Away!
As always, busy times at Chatterpaul's.
Some of our lovely ladies joined Penny in November for our 3rd Annual Girls Wine Tasting Getaway.
We got off to a great start (thanks to Chef Chad sending us off with champagne and orange juice!)
Our two-day trip to the local vineyards in Prince Edward County included a guided tour, lunch, dinner (and of course shopping) and an amazing staff at Huff Winery Estates. We tried and purchased many wonderful Ontario wines, learned a lot about how the soil conditions give these wines their distinct flavours, and had another delicious meal at Blumen in Picton. We are hoping to add some of these to our wine list at the restaurant.
Can't wait for next year already!

We Won!
November 17th was an exciting evening also. We were the proud recipient of the Business Achievement Award (1-49 employees) from the Whitby Chamber of Commerce.
It was a glitzy gala affair with many of Whitby's business community and friends dressed in their finest. The newest Peter Perry Award winner, Des Newman, made an emotional speech and recounted some of the great things about Whitby. (This born and bred Whitby girl concurs!)

Spend New Year's Eve with Us, Here or at Home!
New Year's Eve is rapidly filling up but we would love you to join us too! We will be offering our full delicious menu (because that's what so many of you tell us you prefer!) with a variety of set seating times.
As always, there will be something bubbly at midnight as we ring in 2012. Please call and speak with Tamara or Penny to reserve a spot.

Cooking Class!
 Finally, we've scheduled another of our popular cooking classes! Sunday January 22, 2012 (2-5 pm.) $80.00 per person with all of the usual good times attached with an event at Chatterpaul's! We will be featuring a martini station, wine tasting and a jewellery show and sale from with 10 percent of the sales going to a charity of YOUR choice. Each guest will be asked to fill out a ballot with their charity of choice, and all money raised that night will be donated there. Seating will be limited.
