| What a great sunny Monday
Greetings!
Hello on a chilly October day!
Many thanks to everyone for your patience and support throughout our phone problems with Primus. We are sorry for any and all of the inconvenience this caused and are grateful for those of you who took the time and energy to drive or walk to the restaurant to make sure we were that YES WE ARE STILL OPEN! YIKES!
For some reason, they had posted our last two payments to another account, then shut us down! As you can imagine, this story is not over yet - BUT our phones are working now.
We had an amazing celebration of the season and our local harvest with the "Savour the Season" menu in conjunction with several local farms and restaurants promoting the event throughout the Region of Durham. We were fortunate to be asked to do a wrap up of this event on Rogers Daytime with one of our farmers, Svetec Farms. What a great team!
Many thanks to so many of our regulars for coming out to support this at Chatterpaul's. It was also wonderful to meet so many new "friends" who had never been to our restaurant before.

Ladies Golf
"It's all about the food" here at Chatterpaul's, as you know, but on September l9th, it was also "all about the ladies!"

We held our 2nd Annual Chatterpaul's Ladies Fall Classic Golf Tournament. Many thanks to our 75 friends and guests for supporting this fundraising effort (and to my terrific neighbour Dawn for her help). We raised $2,150.00 for the Future Aces Scholarship program.
Every guest walked away with a prize. Many thanks to some of our wonderful suppliers for helping make the prize table so exciting. The fabulous "2 weeks in Greece", generously donated by our very own Sam Pinellis, was won by Margaret Cox! Congratulations Margaret - I hope you have a wonderful holiday! (Take me!!)

We have also been nominated for Business People of the Year by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce!
Also, a new feature menu arrived this week - if you haven't tried that Seafood Stuffed Squash that we had on the Savour the Season menu - no worries - it is on this new menu! YUM! It would be a great dish on a cool night like this one.
