Life Saving Lanes
Along the E40 in Belgium, concrete barriers are used to separate the workzone and the traffic lanes. However, daily traffic posses a problem for ambulances and police needing to get through. Thanks to IRS transversable posts placed in openings every 3 km, police and ambulances can now easily access the emergency lanes in order to gain time and save lives. The posts quickly return to original position after impact so that other drivers don't realize the posts are flexible. |
Safer Shopping In San Antonio, TX, a major grocery chain is testing the effectiveness of the Omni-Ped Pedestrian Messaging Center in the parking lot of one of their stores. After two weeks of testing, the test store reports the signs are supplying higher visibility to vehicles and have a clean, crisp look. If you would like to test the Omni-Ped or Solestrian for yourself, please contact us about a trial installation. |

What Does ISO Mean to You?
We hear about companies being ISO certified, but what does it really mean?
Internationally recognized, ISO 9001 standard is a quality management systems that gives a company the framework needed to monitor and improve business performance. This system ensures that certain business processes have been developed, documented and followed with results recorded. Guidelines are also periodically monitored by ISO auditors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Bottom line: ISO = better company, better products, peace of mind. |
