Preservation at Work: Black Mountain Ranch

Landmark ranch produces grass-fed beef

Iconic Black Mountain provides a stunning backdrop to the Point Reyes area and has long been a subject of photographs, poems and paintings.  Protected by a MALT easement since 1993, the western flanks of this beloved landmark still inspire with their beauty while the pastures support a grass-fed beef operation.  To learn more about Black Mountain Ranch and find out how you can purchase their beef, click here. Want to try a taste before you buy? Black Mountain Ranch will have gourmet burgers for sale on Sunday, May 20, 11 a.m - 4 p.m. at the Ranches & Rolling Hills Landscape Art Show and Sale at Druids Hall in Nicasio.
