The Hospitality Committee serves as a welcoming service to new Section members and guests at any Section meeting or activity.  We welcome and encourage participation by committee members at local Section meetings through activities such as raffles, announcement of new members present at meetings, and Student Night.Volunteering with the Hospitality Committee is a great way to get connected to the CSIFT. You are able to network with other food industry professionals and during student night you help prepare the students to be future food industry professionals. If you are interested in a great networking opportunity in the IFT community, please contact John Chambers at jchambers@dmhingredients.com or 224-523-6367.

 Minuteman Committee- Jim Anderson, Chair

"The Minuteman Committee, a relatively low profile committee due to the behind-the-scenes work we do, serves an important role on behalf of CS-IFT and represents an excellent "first step" for any CSIFT member looking to serve our section."  Members of the Minuteman Committee are asked to act as the sections visible representative within their individual companies.  The primary job function is to actively re-communicate what's going on within CSIFT: upcoming meetings/dinners, speaker opportunities, technical presentations, services available at the CSIFT web site and of course our nationally recognized Suppliers Night to name just a few.  Keeping members and non-members alike informed about what we're doing on behalf of our industry also encourages membership (only $15 per year, reimbursed by many employers) in CSIFT.  If you're interested helping please feel free to contact Jim Anderson, Committee Chair, at jnanderson@caravaningredients.com
