Support the City of Chicago's 2010 Neighborhood Paper Drive

Recycle your paper including mixed paper, office paper, and newsprint and help local communities across the city. Cash prizes up to $1,000 in addition to the value of the paper itself will be awarded to the neighborhood groups that collect the most of each paper type. Visit the City's website for a list of participating locations and details.

Did you know? Thirty percent of what Chicagoans throw away is paper, yet it is one of the most readily recyclable materials.

Explore the science, history and impact of climate change and its effects on our oceans, atmosphere, land and societies. Visit the Chicago Climate Action Room to discover what the City, local businesses, organizations, and residents are doing to combat climate change and improve the quality of life in our communities while supporting our local economy. Bike to Work Week and Rally

Participate in Active Transporation Alliance's Bike to Work Week and jumpstart your day with a two-wheeled commute. Register your company team today to compete against other businesses for the highest percentage of employees in their category and division to bike to work during the week. Or fuel up with snacks, coffee and even some quick bike mechanics at a Bike Commuter Station on your way to work. On Friday, June 18, celebrate the City's commitment to bicycle commuting at Mayor Daley's Bike to Work Rally on Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington.
