Creativity Lab

Wednesday, June 23 - Friday, June 25
Michigan room, Cobo Hall (downstairs, level 0)
11 AM - 6 PM

Open to all artists, organizers, & allies!

The Creativity Lab is dedicated to elevating our collective understanding and practice of cultural transformation.  It's about the importance of culture in progressive social change, a celebration of the role of creativity in personal, cultural & political transformation.  It's a laboratory, a creative convergence, a space to experiment, share practices, and open up new ways of engaging culture in activist work.

Everything that happens in the Creativity Lab will be art-based, engaging alternative ways of knowing, embodying connection, dialogue and actively creating the world we want to live in.  It's a place to explore, express, and exchange creative tools!

Drop-in to participate in a variety of artistic and cultural activities, organize your own exchange, create art based on your experiences at the USSF, or gather with other artists and organizers to share ideas and skills.

The Creativity Lab is co-sponsored by:  Alternate ROOTS, Arts & Democracy Project, Art2Action, Animating Democracy, Leftist Lounge/Culture Clash, MAG-Net, & the Movement Strategy Center/Art is Change.
