About Blair Fox Cellars
Blair Fox Cellars prides itself on making only small, limited production wines of the highest quality. I search for the most interesting and well-maintained vineyards in Santa Barbara County to use for our Syrah, Viognier and Rose. We are currently making wines from The Fox Family Vineyard, Paradise Road Vineyard, Purisima Mountain Vineyard, Tierra Alta Vineyard, Rodney's Vineyard and Thompson Vineyard. Our Syrah is fermented in very small lots, punched down by hand three times a day, and gently basket-pressed to produce the highest quality wines possible. The Viognier is whole-cluster pressed and fermented in older French Oak barrels to preserve the fresh, floral, fruity, exotic quality of this amazing varietal

Feb. 25th - Los Olivos Cafe "Evening with the Winemaker" 5:00 to 6:00p.m. We will be pouring our current selection of wines and appetizers will be provided. Please contact Los Olivos Cafe for more details. 805.688.7265.
March 7th - Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. "Winter Wine Down" at Roblar Winery from 12:00 to 4:00.
March 28th - Santa Barbara County Wine Cask "Futures". This event will be held at the Wine Cask located at 813 Anacapa St. in Santa Barbara, 800.436-9463. We will be pouring our 2008 Santa Barbara County Viognier, 2006 Paradise Road Syrah and the 2007 Thompson Vineyard Syrah (a new and exciting vineyard for us). Remember this is a "Futures" event. The wine will not be released until ready. Futures is an event where wine may be pre-ordered. We have a second project that we will be pouring at the event. Please see below for this exciting new adventure. Be the first to get this wine. You may pre-order through us or through wine cask.
April 11th - Day#2 Wine Cask "Futures". This is your second opportunity to taste our futures in Santa Barbara wine country. This second day of tastings will be held at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn in Los Olivos. 2860 Grand Ave. Los Olivos, CA. Tickets for the Futures tasting may be purchased through www.winecask.com
April 18th - Santa Barbara County Vintners Festival. You may purchase tickets at www.sbcountywines.com We will be pouring our current selection of wines. Please come by and say hi!
May 17th - Parkinson's Fundraiser at a Montecito home. We will be there pouring our current selection of wines along with a hand full of other boutique wineries. We will be donating the wine to be poured and a percentage of the orders placed at the event will go towards the Parkinson's Association. There will be live music as well as passed Apps. We hope to see you there with your support! Sarah's mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1993, so this is an event very dear to her heart.
May 31st - Share our Strengths "Tast of the Nation". This event will be located at the Montecito Country Club and we will be pouring our current selection of wines. 3 to 6 p.m.
June 14th - Ojai Wine Festival.
August - Santa Ynez Food & Wine Festival. More info & exact date to follow.
October - Santa Barbara County Harvest Festival

| Project THREAD...
Four of Santa Barbara's most exciting winemakers along with four exceptional vineyards are wound together, from a common THREAD.
Blair Fox, Mikael Sigouin, Dave Potter and Larry Schaffer have all worked together in their careers. This is the first time that they have worked together as collaborators, with their own wines from their favorite vineyards. All of the barrels were carefully selected by the winemaking partners for this collaboration, chosen for their overall quality and contributions to the final blend. The project serves as a place for all four of the winemakers to share ideas, debate, and discuss over a glass of their passion.
There will be 100 cases total produced of this exciting new blend. 50% Syrah, 50% Grenache.
Blair Fox, the Andre Tchelistcheff Winemaker of the Year will include a barrel of the Blair Fox Cellars Paradise Road Syrah which contribute weight & power.
Dave Potter's Municipal Winemakers Tierra Alta Syrah will contribute freshness & brightness.
Mikael Sigouins Kaena Larner Vineyard Grenache will contribute meat & spice.
Larry Shaffer's Tercero Camp Four Grenache will contribute lifted fruit & perfume.
