Shred the Love & Win Great Prizes! |
|

SHRED YOUR WAY TO A FRESH START!
Tired of all the red and pink this time of year? Frustrated that stores started selling Valentine's Day candy in November? You are not alone! Join in the fun on February 13th as Midtown Global Market hosts the 2nd annual "Shred the Love" from 1 to 3 pm in the Central Plaza!
You are invited to bring in old love letters, photographs, teddy bears, clothing and other sentimental items that hold memories of an ex-love. At the event, there will be therapeutic devices such as paper shredders, large scissors to de-stuff the teddy bears, and other ways to help give closure to a love lost...and give participants a fresh start for Valentine's Day.
Those who bring an item to shred will have the chance to register-to-win great prizes, including gift certificates to Midtown Global Market stores and restaurants and a free night stay at the Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel.
Midtown Global Market restaurants will also offer group dinner specials, and Michelle Gayer of the Salty Tart will be selling her broken heart cookies. Guests can also enjoy free chocolate covered strawberries, courtesy of the Produce Exchange.

After joining in the fun at Midtown Global Market, check out a puppet show at In The Heart of The Beast Theater!
Flowers and chocolates are lovely, but when was the last time you gave your valentine a puppet show? Kurt Hunter creates a quirky and entertaining world of marionettes in this series of shorts, including one of the sweetest love stories you'll find this weekend! Fringe Festival audiences called the show charming, witty, and poignant. Show times are 7pm on Saturday, February 13 and 4 and 7pm on Sunday, February 14! Catch dinner before or after at the Global Market.

Pham's Deli
Pham's Deli has been a staple of Midtown Global Market since its Grand Opening in June 2006. Owners Trung and Katie Pham are proud to bring their customers Southeast Asian cuisine and are excited to be part of MGM's 'Many Tastes, One Place'. Katie's father is their talented chef and has been in the restaurant business for over 35 years! Pham's Deli is a family-owned business and their success is due to the many family members who have worked as cashiers, dishwashers, prep workers and even moppers when they are needed to lend a hand. Katie and Trung truly appreciate all of their help and support!
Pham's Deli offers daily lunch specials that start at $5.99 and include an entrée, rice and an appetizer. For dinner, Pham's Deli invites you to select 'Made to Order' specialty dishes. Guests can choose which fresh vegetables and meats they want in each dish. Finish off with a hot tea or blended bubble tea and an almond cookie!
Pham's menu has grown over the years to include Pho, Vietnamese coffee and Vietnamese sandwiches. Among local favorites are the Vietnamese Egg Roll and Noodle Salad, Bubble Tea, Lo Mein Noodles, Specialty Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken. Pham's Deli supports local produce from local farmers when in season and when fresh selections are available.
Katie and Trung hope you will continue to support Midtown Global Market and say "Thank You for your continued patronage! Bring your family to Friday Family Nights or Wee Wednesdays for toddlers and enjoy many market specials! We invite you to come hungry and leave happy!"
Pham's Deli is open Monday through Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. For more information, call 612-870-2622 or http://phamsdeli.net |
