More than 125 students recently had the opportunity to challenge some grown-ups to a 40-yard dash and field goal contest. But they weren't just any adults - they were players from the Jacksonville Jaguars! United Way and the Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the 12th Annual National Hometown Huddle on October 19 at EverBank Field.

Baptist Health Runs Model Campaign
and Exceeds Goal

Baptist Health began planning for their 2010 Campaign long before their kick-off in September. Stephen Lee, Baptist Health's Vice President for Operations and their United Way Campaign Chair, started meeting with United Way staff in January. His charge was to learn as much as he could about the previous campaigns by talking to past Baptist campaign chairs as well as leaders in other companies who ran successful United Way campaigns. The result: complete success!

Nassau County Companies and Agencies Rally for the Campaign

Nassau County 2010 Campaign Chair Chip Townsend welcomed more than 50 guests to the Betty Cook Center at FSCJ to learn more about United Way programs and build excitement for this year's Campaign.
"This is a great opportunity for Nassau County residents to gain a better understanding of all the ways United Way improves so many lives," said Townsend. "United Way is addressing critical needs in education, income and health and is finding solutions to the challenges that face today's families."
