New Product Spotlight
On·Task On·Time for KidsTake the nagging out of parenting! Find it hard to "Get out the door" on time in the morning? Want to end those bedtime battles? Want your kids to be more independent? Daily routines are created by applying task stickers to a Routine Disk. The Routine Disk is inserted onto the On·Task Timer Unit and the child sees what tasks should be completed, what tasks should be done now, and what tasks are coming up next. Parents don't need to remind or nag. The words, "Oops, I forgot!" are a thing of the past. Turn normally stressful, transition times into self-esteem building experiences. A reward chart is included to acknowledge success and independence. On·Task On·Time for Kids is designed for children between the ages of five and twelve, and is available with girl or boy illustrations. |

Online Genealogy for History!
Blast into our blog past and see a review written by Debbie about history! She has this to say about Geni, " The idea to use genealogy as a history
tool sprouted in my mind while listening to a grandma exclaim as she
looked at a graduation picture, "Imagine all of this started with just
two people!" When I glanced at the picture she was referring to, I saw
about twenty people all gathered in a family picture at her grandson's
graduation. Is this not the case for many civilizations over time?" |
Let Your Inner Cartoonist Out!
Jennifer Gray makes homeschool comics with TOONDOO! She has this to say, "The interface is very versatile. It's
simple to re-size the comic characters, change their posture, and even
change their facial expressions. I had so much fun playing with just
the basic ToonDo maker that I have not had
a chance yet to check out the ImagineR (a tool that allows you to use
your own images within the comics) or DoodleR (a drawing tool used to
enhance your comics). If you try these out, add a comment or two to let
us know how well you like them!"

Next Week's "Wednesday Winner's" Prize
On Wednesday April 29, 2009 we will randomly draw a name from our list of email newsletter subscribers. That lucky person will win a....
($30 value)
We are a brand new online home business. My 11 year old son whom I homeschool, suggested we write e-books teaching kids 10 and up (adults too!) how to learn "Real Web Design" (hence, the H & H Enterprises). This means learning how to use XTML and CSS code. The e-books take it very slowly, and promote interest in experimentation on one's own. Currently, there are only two of the four Ebooks available, however, there is enough material to work and experiment with, to keep everyone busy until the next two books are ready! We also play to write a series on "Graphic Design for Kids", and "Using the HTML-Kit (a free program which I use exclusively) to Creat Web Pages". |
