This week's show topic is based upon "Confidence and Hope". The topic came about from the inconsistency of subscribers and the individuals who actually open/read businesses' announcements. Recently, I attended social functions, where there were many of Diverse Community Partner, Inc. subscribers. We had discussions about social media communication frequency and what does it mean about support even if these communications were not read by subscribers.
Many people voiced the increase usage of social medial has increased businesses' opportunities to communicate with them. People receive numerous email messages making it difficult for someone to be a loyal reader. I understand the challenges of receiving numerous emails. Personally, I receive approximately 75 to 100 emails daily. I want to remain connected but I open the ones needed when the need arises.
I cannot read ever email but I want to remain an active subscriber. Three years ago if a person told me they were on my subscriber list but never read my email(s) I would have been personally offended. With time and experience you have to be confident the inability for consistent readership is not a personal issue. The reason there is hope because the person is "still a subscriber".
This is something that takes time to be understood. When you are in business you have to detach yourself and realized don't take it totally personal. Yes, you have to develop trust and respect with your connections, which is the initial reason the person, became a subscriber. Time is the factor. People tend to take their time to see what you have to offer. Keep hope and know you have to be confident of YOU!
Hope and confidence does not relate to only entrepreneurs. Everyone should have hope. Without hope what do you have? .................................. I hope you register for this show and share your story of "HOPE" and "CONFIDENCE". What was your journey achieving your goals?
Thank you for being a subscriber and hope you connect with me via Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
