Mortimer Brewster is a theatre-hating drama critic who must deal with his insane, homicidal family and local police. If that weren't enough, his family includes two spinster aunts who have taken to murdering lonely old men by poisoning them with a glass of homemade elderberry wine laced with arsenic, strychnine and just a pinch of cyanide; a brother who believes he is Teddy Roosevelt and digs lock for the Panama Canal in the cellar; and a murderous brother who has received plastic surgery to conceal his identity.

A Classic Comedy that everyone will enjoy will be presented at the Great Plains Theatre October 23 through November 1.  (Rated G)
