Greetings!

A few years ago, a fascinating book came out called The Paradox of Choice, by Barry Schwartz and I was reminded of it recently. The "clif - notes" premise was about: having more things to choose from, whether it's movies on Netflix or vacation destinations, or food - they don't result in more liberation or life satisfaction. In fact, having a plethora of picks at our disposal can actually cause more stress and anxiety, because once we decide on something, we're often plagued by thoughts of missed opportunities. And that is only if we can manage to make a decision.

Facing limitless possibilities often has a paralytic effect, causing some people to avoid choosing anything at all.  Ok, at first I did not believe it, I balked at the concept. Hey, I am a coach, I am decisive! I can deal with options! But admittedly, I have stood in the band-aid aisle at the grocery store, blocking cart traffic, unable to choose between water proof, water resistant, antibiotic, flexi-strips or sport. I know, it is a modern problem to have (and luxury as well). And the paradox of choice applies to things that are more significant than band aids and breakfast foods.

In the end, the goal in life is to feel confident in the direction you're moving, right? We at MABC spent extra time this month in pairing down many of life's choices for you. Check out this SUPER July Newsletter for great ideas in helping you choose fitness exercises, nutritional snacks, cool healthy recipes, boot camp events, State Fair foods, and lots more.

We are here to help you make your best choices - no regrets!Forward this email to a Friend

Tips to Help Our Bodies Work

And as many of you know, at all of our Nutrition Seminars we preach the value of food planning and preparation. Hey anything to make your life a little easier. Here are some tips on how help our bodies work optimally. READ MORE
