Greetings!

January is here and gone, where are you with your New Year's Resolutions?

Was exercising more one of those resolutions? When do you get excited about exercise? For many, it's usually right after they've made the decision to do it at some future time. Just deciding to exercise makes most people feel good...almost like they've already done something. The problem happens when it comes time to follow through and that motivation has suddenly disappeared. If that sounds like you, maybe it's time to focus your attention on what's important. Deciding to exercise is important, but it's what you do to follow through that really matters.

One of the things we pride ourselves on at Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp is not only offering you constant variety to your exercise regimens so you NEVER get bored, but also the motivation and accountability to boot! Thanks to all our current boot campers for letting us help you stay motivated. And if you are not a boot camper, let us know when you are ready for something new; ready for some super motivation so you can actually enjoy and see results from your exercise program!

Thank you for taking a few moments to check out our newsletter. Let us know what interests you and what you want to hear more about - we are listening!

Sincerely,

Coach Catherine and the Boot Camp Staff

2010 T-Shirt Slogan Contest
Your Words on Our T-shirts

Boot Camp Slogan ContestOur campers are so creative! So to give you a creative outlet, we will be holding a boot camper t-shirt slogan contest each quarter. As you may know, we have been trying to change up the t-shirt colors a few times per year for variety. Our shirts have a four-color Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp logo on the front and a one color "slogan" and web site on the back.

Starting February 14th - we want your slogans! Send us an email.
Better Business Bureau Approved
Another MABC First

Better Business Bureau ApprovedWell, we did it! Another first for Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp. But we could not have done it without you, our loyal campers and clients!

In January 2010, we earned membership as an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. As many of you know, the BBB is one of the most recognized, utilized and reliable sources of information on business reliability in the US. Most consumers and businesses know, respect and believe in the BBB and prefer doing business with BBB members, because they know that BBB members are committed to a high level of quality, ethics and customer service excellence.

Boot Camp Coach To Run 3,230 Miles
MS Run the US
MS Run the US
Ashley Kumlien, a coach with Lake Country Boot Camp and a friend of Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp, will run 3,230 miles across America from San Francisco, CA to New York, NY inspired by her mother's 27 year diagnosis of MS.

She chose to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis because her mother, Jill Kumlien, has been battling MS for over 27 years.  This disease has robbed Ashley's mother of the abilities we take for granted every day. This run is a tribute to Jill's daily triumph over disabilities associated with having MS, and to all others just like her living with the disabling affects of this disease.

Bread for Life
Here is the link to the fantastic bread I mentioned.  You can find it at your local grocer under the name of "Breads for Life" packaged with black writing and a a blue label (right now). It usually has its own little area (end of bread aisle at Sendik's; own shelf at Trader Joe's).

While I am a firm believer that buying local is important (and these folks are very local), it is also important to me to get my family to eat healthy and my 3 kids love this bread and buns!  I could not get them to eat Ezekiel breads or Nature's Way, but they love this stuff.

Save Your Life with Jiu-Jitsu
FREE Seminar February 20th

My friend, Scott Hutson of 360 BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), wants to help our campers raise awareness on how to prevent potentially dangerous situations and to introduce Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques that could literally save your life during a confrontation.

As many of you may know, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) boasts many of the most well conditioned athletes in the world and women are a growing population to this training regimen. I myself am a huge fan and have incorporated similar beginners level conditioning into boot camps. I will be attending this FREE seminar on February 20th, join me! For more information, click here.
