The Nathan C. Splant Foundation is a participating organization for Give a Day ~ Get a Disney Day and we want to inspire you to volunteer a day of service to your local community. So we're celebrating these volunteers' good works by giving each of them a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the DisneylandŽ Resort or Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort, FREE.
If you've never volunteered before or are a seasoned volunteer, this is a fabulous opportunity to Make a Difference in your community and earn a FREE PASS to any Disney Park. If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian volunteer with you to qualify and we are promoting family volunteering, although individuals over the age of 18 can earn the pass as well. You MUST log on to www.DisneyParks.com to search for and sign up for an opportunity with the Nathan C. Splant Foundation or a organization of your choice.
Once you have completed the service, the agency will confirm your participation and the FREE PASS will be sent to you. Don't wait...once 1 million passes have been given out nationally, the promotion will end. |
New Board Member Announcement
The Nathan C. Splant Foundation is pleased to announce Shannon Nassenstein as a new Board Member to its Board of Trustees.
Shannon has volunteered for the Foundation since the beginning and has seen the joy of the families we have helped. Shannon is a Registered Nurse (12 years) on the Critical Care Cardiac floor at Christ Hospital. While her main nursing focus is adults, she knows the physical, emotional, and financial impact a premature child can have on a family. Shannon is married and a mother of two children. "I am honored to be part of this local community organization."
We are grateful for the opportunity to work with an individual that demonstrates such a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. Shannon brings valuable expertise and insight to our organization.

Reflections of 2009

The achievement of our mission is accomplished with the continued active participation of individuals, families, organizational groups and local businesses throughout the community.
Your generosity has enabled the Foundation to increase its grant giving program 30% from last year. The Foundation also continues to raise additional money with the following on-going programs/campaigns:
If you would like more information on "ways to help" or would like to have a local fundraising activity through individual participation, school involvement or by becoming a volunteer, go to www.ncsplantfoundation.org or call (219) 365.5800.
