Greetings!

Have you ever felt all alone in your circumstances? Me too.

Going through a divorce after ten years of marriage. Raising two children under the age of eight by myself. Losing a baby through miscarriage. Losing our main source of income. Losing a loved one... the list can go on can't it.

When trials come our tendency is to become myopic - having single vision. We focus on what we are experiencing and though we try to do our best, many of us can be sucked into a chasm of self-pity, sadness, and loneliness. Have you been there?

God's word says we are to be thankful in the midst of life's storms. I've found it only works for me when I take my mind off of my circumstance and focus on the work of Jesus. Here is Truth we can walk in this week, take it to heart and share it with the one God places in your path.

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." I Corinthians 15;57

I'm traveling this week, praise God for opportunities of victory as I go about and the same for you.

Hugs in Him... Linda
