Greetings!
In the many Greenhouse Trainings we've done this fall, several resources have come to the front as good sellers and helpful for many. We wanted to highlight three for you. You can see further descriptions of each resource below, but I wanted to pass on how these have been personally impactful for me.
1) The Blueprint: Jaeson Ma sprints out of the gate speaking of his personal destiny. The story grabs your soul and draws you in to what God has him to share. His passion in and for prayer is remarkable and needs to mark me in similar ways. I also live blocks from the largest university campus in the USA, so I am definitely wanting to learn about the campus organic church movement.
2) Organic Church Movements Conference CDs: Wow there are some amazing presentations here. Reggie McNeal's main session talk was powerful as he shared his heart with the movement in "last words" ways. I have Alan Hirsch's Forgotten Ways presentations (1 & 2) in the car and in my cd player at home right now. Great stuff (especially if the book was too technical or wordy for you to read). Neil Cole's message on "why didn't I take the blue pill" has become a splinter in my mind. Check out the titles again and pick a few up...or all of them! On our shopping page, go to the link for "Org. Ch. Multi. Movements Conference" to browse through all the selections.
3) Starfish & the Spider: This book has been a solid seller all fall. Our movement is about being decentralized and that's exactly what this book studies and presents. One guy told me that this book was pushing him so hard it "made his head hurt."
One last thing, at lease four more books that I know of are in the works from people in the movement. That doesn't count Cultivating a Life for God by Neil Cole which is getting brush up and a reprinting soon.
Press on,
Mike
