Yog I am at the Amrit Yoga Institute in amazing Ocala Forest Florida. Check in was on Friday and I thought I would share highlights of my experience. I am often asked what to eat daily for the ever important snack.  It is so vital to snack in between meals to avoid over eating or slipping into a low-high sugar pattern. 
So for the best advice, I turned to my Mom and here is what she had to offer:
Protein- *2 Slices white meat turkey in 2 lettuce leaves (46 Calories)
            *1/2 Cup plain fat free yogurt with 1 tsp/ unsalted sunflower seeds or roasted unsalted slivered almond (49 cal.)
            *1 Wasa Crispbread with 2 tsp. hummus (45 cal.)
            *1 oz. smoked salmon on 2 Wheat Thins, multigrain. (48 cal.)
