Holiday Eating Survival! Christmas Breakfast
I will keep this simple, as it should be.  Here is my professional advice to how to get through all the holiday food without gaining the usual ten to twelve pounds.  On the day of the Holiday, eat whatever the heck you want, as much as you want, any and all of it.  Get stuffed and enjoy every bite and drink.  Then the day after Christmas or New Years eve, do NOT touch the left overs.  Have a fruit and vegetable day.  Only drink fresh fruit and vegetable juice, have a protein shake, eat fresh fruit and vegetables to eat (fiber), take it light.  Then exercise later in the day!  Remember, walking is for recovery, it is not really exercise, get out and run or lift some weights.  Enjoy eating, don't feel guilty about it, and then go light the next day.  The average Holiday dinner can equal a full days worth of calories.
