MICHIGAN YOUTH ARTS HOLIDAY EMPORIUM
Online auction to support arts education in Michigan schools.


BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (December 1, 2009) - Bidding is underway at the Michigan Youth Arts Holiday Emporium, an online auction to benefit arts education.  Over 60 donated items are up for sale with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Michigan Youth Arts.
 
The diverse gift offerings include sports memorabilia from the Redwings and Lions, original artwork, jewelry and pottery.  Event tickets are also popular and feature box seats at the Detroit Opera, Pistons tickets, and numerous regional theatre, classical music and dance performances.
 
"There's really something for everyone," says Executive Director, Kim Dabbs.  "The donations are from all over Michigan and represent not only our vibrant artistic scene, but our great sports and tourism culture as well.  We encourage anyone who wants to support arts education, or just find a great holiday gift, to bid early and often!"
 
Potential bidders can visit michiganyoutharts.org/events and flip through the auction catalog, or click through and start bidding right away.  The items are on the block from now until the evening of December 6th.
