Guidelines are Up
Guidelines for all disciplines to begin the adjudication process that leads to the Festival are online now.  Some deadlines are fast approaching, so be sure to check the details soon.  Music Composition applications are due November 6, Poetry Out Loud applications are due November 16, and Dance applications are due December 11.

It's the first annual Michigan Youth Arts Holiday Emporium, an online auction to raise money towards our efforts to advocate for arts education in Michigan and continue the amazing tradition of the Michigan Youth Arts Festival!

Donate musical instruments, artwork and art supplies, sports tickets and memorabilia, gift cards and gift certificates, travel vouchers, electronics or video equipment, and gently-used household items, and we'll auction them off online, December 1-6, just in time for holiday giving!

To make a donation, simply fill out and sign the Auction Donation Form and send it and your item to us by November 13. Your item will appear in our online catalog November 20.

a Blast!
Our first ever 5k was a slightly chilly but fun-filled event, featuring choirs, guitars, first-time and seasoned walkers and runners, kids, adults, Captain America, a giant fluffy Art Dog, and prizes from Hanson's Running, The Detroit School of Rock and Pop, and Serendipity Yoga!  We loved it so much, we're going to do it again.  Mark your calendars for 10/10/10!  (Thanks to April H. for her fabulous finish-line photo!)
