Here's what our guest Zach Schwartz, from Shangri-La entertainment, has to say about a star-studded feature film they released EXCLUSIVELY on youtube: 'The goal here is to create an alternative platform for filmmakers that allows good stories at lower budgets to find a mass audience. Distribution costs with traditional releases hamper indie film. A movie comes out in 2 theaters for a week and disappears. There are no distribution costs in releasing on Youtube. Our cash break was solely the cost of our production!'
