PR Students to Compete at PA High School Speech League State Tournament: The Pine-Richland Forensics Team took second place at the state qualifying tournament, which was held at PRHS Feb. 27. PR Athletes Place at WPIALs & Swimmer Advances to PIAA State Championships: Swimmer Kristen Murslack advanced to the PIAA state championships at Bucknell University and placed 8th in the 200 IM. Playing College Sports, Monday, March 22, 2010, PRHS LGI Room, 7:30-9 p.m.: The PRHS Baseball Boosters are proudly sponsoring a free seminar presented by Mark Saghy for anyone interested in learning more about the process and opportunities for college athletics. Mr. Saghy is a well-known spokesman on this topic and promoter of many area high school athletes into colleges. Even more importantly, information in his seminar will provide everyone the needed direction in finding the right school through the college search and recruiting process. Girls Field Hockey Clinic: Girls in grades 4-8 are invited to participate in this field hockey clinic on Saturday, May 1, from 1-4 p.m. at PRHS stadium.
