The PR School Board will now meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month except for July.

The next planning meeting will be scheduled for Monday, Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m., and the next regular meeting will be scheduled for Monday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. The meeting on the 25th will begin with board appreciation.

Pine Township Offering Free Admission
Pine Township is offering the Pine-Richland School District staff a chance to try out the Pine Community Center in January free for three days.  Just choose your week Sunday - Saturday, bring the coupon and your PRSD Employee ID to the front desk of the recreation center. Whether crafting policies or directing the district in its educational endeavors, board members always keep their eyes on the goal of student achievement. In acknowledgment of their dedicated service, January is designated School Director Recognition Month.  Board appreciation will get underway at 7 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2010.  This year's theme is "Educating for Success. Support PR Varsity Ice Hockey Outdoor Game
 The Varsity Hockey team will play North Allegheny in its second annual outdoor hockey game on Monday, January 25, at 7 p.m. at North Park Ice Skating Rink.  Proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Research.

PR Continues to Partner with Alliance
PRSD is partnering with the Alliance Against Drugs and the Pennsylvania Attorney General in a "Prevention Video of the Month" program. These short videos are streamed over a high speed Internet connection.  Talking points for parents and students are available as a download from the Alliance web site.
