Mathletics Camp
It's almost that time to begin thinking about how you are going to spend your summer vacation! How about becoming a MATHlete and participate in the third annual Mathletic Camp.
For the past two summers, Mr. Aglietti and Mr. Frank conducted a math program that focused on the fundamentals of Algebra I. Students' math careers take them from Algebra I, to Geometry, then to Algebra 2. This program is designed to help bridge the "year off" between Algebra I and Algebra 2 by focusing on the major concepts essential to be successful in Algebra 2.
Due to an overwhelming response to the Mathletics Camp after the first year, we now offer an additional Mathletic Camp for students who have successfully completed Algebra I and will be taking Geometry beginning in the fall of 2010. This program is designed to focus on the skills learned in Pre-Algebra and Algebra that are crucial in being successful in Geometry. Location, dates, and times have not been determined. Email us now to guarantee a spot. Contact Mr. Frank or Mr. Aglietti to sign up now. Start out the new school year ahead of the game...be a MATHlete! |
