State Issues H1N1 Information to Schools:  We will continue to provide you with the latest information on the H1N1 virus.  Because you are our partner in education, we believe it's important to provide this ongoing communication. The state is asking us to provide parents with specific guidelines & tips on preventing the flu. Click here for the latest.

Important Information on Student Information & Rapid Call System:  As you know, the District is updating its student information system. In the event that the district needs to make another rapid notification call, please be patient.  We are trying to use the most up-to-date information, but the rapid call system cannot be fully updated until the student information system is in place.  Click here for more details.

Action Update: Your Support's Still Needed:  Thank you for your support by contacting your state leaders. The Clymer-Youngblood Resolution does have the power to stop the Keystone Examinations.  Click here to read more about how you can continue your efforts.
 
PRHS Soccer Boosters Hosting 11th Annual JRK Soccer

PRHS Stadium Maintenance:  Please note that you will not be able to access the field and track at PRHS Stadium on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. through the fall.  Click here to read why.
 
2009-2010 Immunization Requirements:  Students must show immunization documentation.  If a student fails to submit documentation to his/her school by October 1, 2009, he/she will not be admitted to school.  Click here for the new requirements.

Official 2009 Ram Fan T-Shirts On Sale Now:  Purchase your 2009 Ram Fan T-shirts.  Student entry is free if wearing your shirt for the game on September 25 in which we host Hampton and for a future basketball game to be announced.  Click here for the order form.

Young Champions Cheer Classes Kick Off at Pine & Richland Community Centers:  The Young Champions Cheer Classes are starting on September 22 for Pine Township participants at the Pine Community Center.  To register, call 724-625-1636.  Richland Township participants, please call 1-866-433-7469 for details.
 
I-9 Basketball Registration (Ages 5-10):  Register now for the 2009 Basketball Season at the Richland Youth Center. Download an application by clicking here.
 
Swim Lessons:  Registration being held at the PRHS Aquatics Center on September 19 from 9-11 a.m.  Click here for details. 
 
Fall 2009 PRGS Academy Training Program:  Registrations due September 12.  Training will be offered for girls in grades 1-3 on Sundays in the Fall.  (This program is not affiliated with the PR Soccer Club.)  This program is also used as a means to identify players for our u9 and u10 Select teams.  Tryouts for these teams take place in May.  Click here for the registration form.

Special Education Parent Network of Pine Richland Invites You to Upcoming Sessions: First Meeting on Sept. 11 - 9:30 a.m.  The Special Education Parent Network of Pine Richland is for families to provide district-wide leadership, advocacy, technical assistance, and promote collaboration among parents, educators, students, communities, and other agencies to ensure that all children with disabilities have available to them a free, appropriate public education. Art Classes for All Being Offered:  The North Hills Arts Center is offering art classes and workshops for children and adults this fall. Click on each link for details.
 
2009 PRYC Programs:  The Pine-Richland Youth Center is offering new programs and many of your favorites.  Click here to learn more about the center's offerings.  From Flu Shots to Ladies Boot Camp, there's something for everyone.
 
Special Needs Program Hosting Concert & Silent Auction:  The Special Needs "Serve" Program is auctioning off two golf packages during its silent auction at its benefit concert on September 26.  Click here for details.  You can make an electronic bid up until midnight on September 25, 2009.
