Greetings!
Welcome and War Eagle! to all the Auburn Tigers joining us in Atlanta this week for the CFA Kickoff! This email is meant as a quick rundown/reminder of all the need-to-know details and events going on this week before Auburn opens its 2012 season -vs- Clemson at the Georgia Dome Saturday night. On Thursday (Aug 30): Atlanta Auburn Club after-work networking/social event with the Atlanta Clemson Club, 6-9pm ET, at Five Seasons Brewery at the Prado (in Sandy Springs on Roswell Road just south of the I-285 exit). Both clubs are jointly asking all fans to bring canned food donations for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Help us fill our Auburn barrel for this friendly pre-Kickoff competition! Friday (Aug 31): AUBURN NIGHT AT TURNER FIELD for Braves-Phillies. Game is at 7:35. Tickets are still available at: braves.com/auburn and include access to pre-game Auburn fun at the R ightfield Patio, starting at 5:30pm ET (We are working on surprises! Don't miss it!) Note: Friday is also College Colors Day, so be sure to show your Auburn colors all day - and vote for AU here: http://espn.com/collegecolorsday
Game Day, Saturday (Sep 1): This is a TRUE BLUE game for Auburn - please wear Blue!!

And for any Auburn fans who are downtown early on Saturday & want to catch the annual and wildly-entertaining DragonCon parade (Darth Vader, Stormtroopers...and a whole lot more), it starts at 10am ET on Peachtree Street downtown. The parade route winds from Woodruff Park at the corner of Auburn Ave and Peachtree Street, continues North on Peachtree Street to Baker Street, and takes a final turn onto Courtland Street to conclude at the Atlanta Mariott Maquis' back entrance. This is Why We Chop! Auburn Night w/Braves on August 31
Join the Atlanta Auburn Club and the Auburn Alumni Association on Eve of CFA Kickoff Game
Kickoff the start of the 2012 college football season by joining the Atlanta Auburn Club, the Auburn Alumni Association and the Atlanta Braves for a pregame party at Turner Field!! The night before Auburn meets Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff at Atlanta's Georgia Dome, come watch the Braves, as they face the Philadelphia Phillies. Game time is 7:35pm ET.
All Auburn group tickets include pregame access to a tented area at the Rightfield Patio for a two-hour pregame Auburn Tiger meet-and-greet with other members of the Auburn Family. After the game, stay for post-game fireworks which will light up the Atlanta skies.

The Atlanta Auburn Club has been recruited by the Athletic Department again for shaker distribution in Auburn seats at the Georgia Dome before the Kickoff Game. This will happen at 2pm ET on Game Day (Saturday, Sept. 1). Last time we had almost 60 Tigers helping us - can we get even more this time?! The bigger the team, the faster it gets done (90 mins or less). This is a family-friendly effort, so children with adult supervision also welcome to help.
