Auburn's Fan Day is on Sunday at Auburn Arena, Auburn Tigers are #1 in registrations for GridIron Trail Rush on Saturday... and, we have just learned from the Atlanta Braves that -- barring any unexpected changes -- there's a good chance that Tim Hudson could be pitching for our August 20th outing at Turner Field!! | Atlanta Auburn Club Bus Trips for 2011 Football Season

Nov. 12: Auburn at Georgia -- TBA, $35/per person Reservation links for the South Carolina, Florida and Georgia buses will be available soon. Atlanta Auburn Club Bus policy for the 2011 season: Seat reservations are confirmed only through pre-payment via credit card links posted by the Atlanta Auburn Club. The Atlanta Auburn Club has no control over TV kickoff times, and to secure buses we must reserve them early. Pre-paid fares for game day trips are non-refundable, but can be transferred (with notice to club) to another Auburn Tiger or someone on the club waiting list (if applicable). Bus departure times and locations will be announced prior to game day travel. If there are not enough riders for a particular bus trip, the club will refund prepaid funds to riders for said trip.

| Mud...Football... and AUBURN! It's the Gridiron Trail Rush!
Auburn Tigers have "commanding lead" in registrations for Saturday's event!
War Eagle to all the Auburn Tigers who have registered for Saturday's Gridiron Trail Rush. To quote the event's website - http://gridirontrailrush.com/ - we have a "commanding lead" in overall registrations for this inaugural metro Atlanta event. Part Warrior Dash - part SEC Tailgate, we plan on getting the football season started with some fun on Saturday!
 If you are participating on our Auburn Team, plan on a little tailgate fun after the mud pit, the tire runs and the tackle dummies. We'll have a tailgate tent, so feel free to bring chairs, etc. We will also have club t-shirts and ornaments available for purchase (checks accepted). Make sure you wear something Auburn. Football is the theme of the day! A portion of proceeds from all the Auburn entries will be donated back to the Atlanta Auburn Club's 501(c)(3) Roy B. Sewell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Event features Tony Barnhart and benefits the new Coweta Samaritan Clinic
Paul Ellen, football radio studio host for Auburn's ISP Sports Network and honorary member of the Atlanta Auburn Club, has let us know about an upcoming event. He and Brett Johnston, president of the Coweta-Fayette Auburn Club, are involved in an upcoming fundraiser for a new medical clinic for the indigent that is scheduled to open in Newnan next month. They have Tony Barnhart coming to speak at a college football breakfast on August 20. Any Atlanta Auburn Club members are welcome to attend, especially any Tigers on the South or West side of Atlanta. Details below:

Auburn Alumni Association Life Membership Rates Going Up
Life membership rates will increase effective October 1, 2011. So, now is the time to "go life!" As long as the association receives your first payment (or payment in full) no later than Sept. 30, 2011, you will be locked into the current life rates ($650/individual and $975/joint). Payments received on or after Oct. 1, 2011 will be at the new rates ($850/individual and $1,175/joint). This is the association's first rate increase in six years and puts Auburn in line with other SEC schools who have alumni membership programs. (Be sure to use the link and Atlanta Auburn Club membership code listed above when signing up for a Life membership!)
