Thanks to everyone who has already registered for our Tiger Trek Atlanta event, which is coming up  on Monday, April 25! We have had an AU-some response! With Coach Chizik AND the BCS National Championship Trophy coming to Atlanta, we are expecting our biggest turnout ever. If you want to be ALL IN for this event, you have to register. We have more than 22,000+ alumni in the metro area and we don't have enough room for everyone. Updated Tiger Trek details & registration link are below.

---Saturday, August 20 - AAC's Annual Auburn Day w/Atlanta Braves at Turner Field, 7pm

Atlanta is the 1st stop of coach's Tiger Trek tour --- and in 2011 it is also the ONLY stop outside the state of Alabama. The BCS National Championship Trophy will be there ...will you?!

Bring a bag/jar of your spare/unwanted change (pennies, nickels, dimes, etc) to TIGER TREK Atlanta - every penny collected that night will go into the Atlanta Auburn Club Endowment Fund; and everyone who participates will get an extra ticket for our raffle that night

-Autographs: We will also have an autograph table that includes Coach Chizik and other special guests (Note: to keep the line moving, everyone will be limited to one autograph item per person and no photographs with guests at the table will be allowed)

Auburn BOT Nominations Are Sought

 

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley is encouraging all individuals interested in serving on the Auburn University board of trustees to apply for one of the nine positions open this year.  

 

The governor, who is president of the board of trustees, released a public letter last Thursday outlining the application and nomination process.  

 

A trustee selection committee comprised of two current Auburn trustees, two members of the Auburn Alumni Association board of directors and Gov. Bentley (or his designee) will select nominees, which require confirmation by the Alabama Senate.

 

Deadline for applications is Friday, April 8, 2011. Click this link for more information.
