Greetings!
War Eagle everyone! Two quick updates we wanted to quickly get out to everyone:
Saturday's "Victory" Bus Trip to Auburn: We need to know by midnight tonight (Thu) if anyone else is interested in coming along for the road trip to Auburn for the National Championship Celebration.
We wanted to do this for fun, as a service for our metro are Tigers - and priced it accordingly - but with the headcount we have right now, we would lose hundreds of dollars. We are still looking for 25 riders, so any help you can provide to spread the word to other Tigers is most appreciated. (If the headcount remains unchanged, we will be forced to cancel the trip Friday morning).
Atlanta BCS Replay Party: ESPN has given the Atlanta Auburn Club permission to re-air the BCS National Championship game for a very special one-night-only "Replay Party". For everyone snowed- and iced-in across the metro Atlanta area on January 10, it will finally be an opportunity for us to cheer TOGETHER! And if anyone who went to Glendale wants to watch it one more time -- even better! We can only do this at one location, so make plans now to meet us at The Bucket Shop Sat., January 29. We want to have some fun with this and might even see if we can generate some local media interest. We'll get you more details in the next few days.

The Atlanta Auburn Club is recognized as a not-for-profit corporation by the state of Georgia, and the club's Roy B. Sewell Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. holds 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the IRS. The AAC raises tens of thousands of dollars annually to fund scholarships for metro Atlanta area students to attend Auburn University. The club is a member of AU's 1856 Society, which recognizes donors whose cumulative gifts total $100,000 and above. In 2007 and 2008 alone, the AAC raised a combined total of $60,000 to fund our regular and endowed scholarships. The Greater Atlanta metro area is home to more than 22,000 Auburn alumni, fans & friends....and still growing. War Eagle!
