| War Eagle from the Atlanta Auburn Club! |
|
|
Greetings!
War Eagle everyone! This is a quick-turnaround week for the Auburn Tigers. Auburn's game
at Mississippi State Thursday night will be on ESPN. Kickoff is set for 7:30p ET. There is some additional information on our Game Watching locations for Thursday's game, so be sure to check that below..
The Atlanta Auburn Club is teaming with Rally Foundation to mark September as Children's Cancer Awareness month. This week has also been declared, by Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, as "4 Quarters 4 Research Week." We'll be collecting donations at our Bucket Shop and Twisted Taco viewing locations Thursday night as part of this AUsome Rally program, which is popular at schools statewide. So bring your change (nickels, pennies, quarters, etc) and help make a difference! (Rally Foundation was founded by one of our Atlanta area Auburn grads.) Don't forget: Next Tuesday, September 14, we have a joint event with the Atlanta Clemson Club. Full details below -- we hope to see a lot of Auburn Tigers there!
We have now topped 900 followers on Facebook. On Twitter, we are only 52 away from 1,000 - WDE!
GO AUBURN TIGERS!!!

----- special note from the Atlanta Auburn Club -----
For our Auburn Tigers in Alpharetta/Milton/Roswell/Cumming: Please note that Hudson Grill will no longer be a viewing
location. Another club goes there and this has presented a
problem for our Auburn fans. So on Thursday night, we will be testing
another Alpharetta location that runs an ad in the Auburn
football program: Champps-Alpharetta at North Point Mall
(next to PF Changs) will be showing Thursday night's game. They are just off GA 400 at: 7955 North Point Parkway.
And at the request of A LOT of
Auburn Tigers in Cobb we will also
be testing a location in Marietta/East Cobb on Thursday night. Wild Wing Cafe (2145 Roswell Road) will have the Auburn game. The
owner's daughter is an Auburn grad and a number
of Tigers are already going there.
These two *TEST* locations
will be for Thursday only right now. If anyone goes to either of these
two locations --- WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK! So please email us afterward & tell us what you think.
