| War Eagle from the Atlanta Auburn Club! |
|
|
Greetings!
War Eagle everyone! We heard from someone in Auburn that there's a 90% chance of rain for the game tonight, so expect another wet one at Jordan-Hare. (Not to mention all the additional rain falling here in the waterlogged metro Atlanta area!)
If you decided to stay in town this weekend, there should be plenty of Tigers gathering at our viewing locations tonight. Or if you plan on watching from home, the game will be on Fox Sports South, and also on XM channel 200. Game time is 7pm ET. (Info on next week's game in Knoxville below)
Coach Gene Chizik's Preview of the Ball State Game: "We had a
chance to go over the West Virginia game and there is a lot of
improvement that needs to be made in a lot of areas, as we thought. As
I have said before, it's never as good as it seems and it's never as
bad as it seems. But we definitely have a lot of work to do. We are
glad that we came out with a victory and that we are 3-0 at this point,
but there are so many things that we have an opportunity to improve on.
We are playing a football team that has not won a game and the
turnovers tell the tale, but they are a good football team. Coach
Parrish is very good. He was a great offensive coordinator for them
last year when they racked up a lot of yards. They still have those
capabilities, so we have to get refocused. We have to worry about
Auburn and getting better. We have our work cut out for us against Ball
State, so we are going to try and get in a good week of practice this
week and get ready." Click here for more. The
Atlanta Auburn Club will have two buses headed to Athens for the
Georgia game. Why drive and deal with all that game day traffic when
you can get the tailgate party started sooner with us! Roundtrip bus fare
is only $30. Reserve your space now by emailing the club! More details
to come...
