Don't Miss AAC's "Tiger Talk" Event Next Week
Be informed! Come out and join the Atlanta Auburn Club for a fun and interesting night of "Tiger Talk" about college recruiting.
Rich McGlynn and Bernard Hill, AU's Associate Athletics Directors for Compliance, will be our guests. We have wanted to get them here to meet more metro area Tigers,
and to share their knowledge about what is what in the SEC and NCAA. These guys are great, they know the rules... and they make compliance fun!
The best part: they will answer your questions...about Auburn and those
"other" schools! So, come join us for some casual, fun & lively discussion!!
The AAC will also have signups for membership and our June 8 golf tournament... plus, we'll have some club t-shirts available. We'll also be holding a raffle that night to benefit our 501(c)(3) Roy B. Sewell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
When: Next Wednesday, May 13 Time: Happy hour starts at 6:15p-6:30p. Our Tiger Talk session will start at 7:30p. Where: Vita Restaurant is located at 2110 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, Ga. 30309; Tel: 404-367-8482. On the web at: www.vitaatl.com
Event is free to attend, but everyone is on their own for food and drinks. (We are trying to make this as recession-friendly as possible!)
We are still hoping that Auburn and Atlanta's own
Paul Hemphill will also be able to join us that night to sign copies of his
book, "A Tiger Walk Through History: A Compete History of Auburn
Football from 1892 to the Tuberville Era." We will know more by next Monday, if not sooner.
Note: Vita is located on Peachtree Road just north of Piedmont Hospital and just south of Peachtree Battle; it's across from The Fresh Market on Peachtree; and Marta Bus Line 23, which runs from Lenox to the Arts Center, stops right in front of the restaurant. From Cobb County, take I-75 south to Northside Drive; then take Collier Road to Peachtree Street and go north.
