Save Your Spare Change & Bring It to AAC's "Game Day" Event July 15!!! AAC Adopts "4 Quarters 4 Research" Project to Benefit Children's Cancer Research
This year, The Atlanta Auburn Club is joining together with Rally Foundation to help raise money for children's cancer research through the group's popular 4 Quarters 4 Research -- a program that already has seen the participation of more than 140 schools. What do you do? Get a Ziploc bag and start saving your spare quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies! Check the bottom of your purse, under the cushions of the couch, and under the seat of your car! Then, bring the bag of change with you to our BIG Game Day Event with Coach Tuberville on Tuesday, July 15. Adults...children...everyone can participate! Rally Foundation, which was founded by an Auburn alum and includes the involvement of A LOT of Auburn alumni, will be with us that evening.
Rally
gives 100% of net proceeds to fund all phases of childhood cancer
research. It helps fund the collaborative research of more than 5,000
physicians, scientists and nurses at 200 hospitals nationwide. These
physicians and nurses treat more than 90% of the children in the U.S.
with cancer. Eighty percent are enrolled in clinical
trials.
It's our hope that this effort will be the start of an ongoing community service project for the AAC. Metro area Tigers can also help spread the word, by encouraging their local schools and/or places of employment to hold their own 4 Quarters fundraisers.
Want to read more about all the great work Rally is doing...and all the great people supporting this effort --- Click Here to visit the Rally Foundation website.

How Do You Show Your Auburn Spirit? Send the AAC Your Photos!

The photo above is how Judy Asher shows support for Auburn in her metro Atlanta subdivision!

Susan Peterson has a great story about this photo. She secretly dressed up her sister's baby, Lucy, in the Auburn outfit. Susan's sister was appropriately horrified since she is a rabid UGA fan. But leave it to Susan to have the ultimate last word --- she took pictures, and had Christmas cards made up via Snapfish...then sent them out. Ho! Ho! Ho! WAR EAGLE!! ********
The Atlanta Auburn Club is giving you a shot at some well-deserved Tiger fame. Your photos in our Email blasts, on the web -- and in albums on our Tiger2Tiger group page! Be sure to check them all out! We are getting some great shots so keep sending them in. How do you celebrate the Auburn Tigers? We want to see plenty of Orange & Blue and lots of Auburn Spirit! Are you the biggest Tiger fan this side of the Georgia-Alabama stateline?
Send us your .jpg photos (file sizes less than 1 MB please) and then check upcoming newsletters, the web & Tiger2Tiger! communications@atlantaauburnclub.org WAR EAGLE!! |
