Greetings!
War Eagle to all the Auburn Young Alums in the Atlanta Metro Area!
If you are getting this email you are currently one of
about 200 Tigers registered as Young Alums or you've expressed
interest in receiving information about YA events. If you know anyone else who wants to be involved, be sure to click on the "Forward to More Tigers" link below and tell them to signup for YA and all club emails.
We hope this marks the start of some improved communications for our group. We realized that many of you were registered on the Yahoo group only and NOT getting regular communications from the club! We've decided to phase out the Yahoo group and move everything over to the AAC website. Constant Contact allows us to send Young Alum-specific emails, and incude everyone as part of the larger group of metro Tigers. There is also a Young Alum forum on the club message board and we invite you to start using it!
Note: You can always
update your profile & interests by clicking on the "Update Profile"
link at the bottom of this email.
This year, the AAC and Young Alums have been
organizing all sorts of events - like a recent Braves outing and the
Thrashers event below. What other activities are you interested in? We
are open to any and all suggestions. Let us know what you think!
First up: We're excited to announce that Atlanta's Auburn
& Tennessee Young Alums are getting together this week -- on
Thursday -- for another joint "Beat BAMA" Bash. Young Alums, Old
Alums...and everyone in-between are invited to come out and join us
after work. Details about that and much more are below.War Eagle! The Atlanta Auburn Club & AAC Young Alums

| Headed to Athens?! Ride With the AAC!! Bus Trip to Athens November 10th
It only happens once every two years! Don't miss out on the Atlanta Auburn Club's favorite road trip -- we've got two buses headed to Athens for the Tigers' date "Between the Hedges."
This trip is great fun and there is always a great group going. We have some Tigers joining us from out-of-state and elsewhere in Georgia, so don't procrastinate! Seats are already being reserved!
Buses will leave the Park & Ride at I-85 and Indian Trail (just north of Jimmy Carter Blvd.) about five hours before Kickoff. Tickets are only $30 per person.
Please note that this is for bus fare only -- it doesn't include a ticket to the game. However, there is already a growing group of Tigers planning to join us who don't have tickets yet; if they don't get them by kickoff, they plan on heading to a bar in Athens in one big group. C'mon and join us!
