All Auburn-All Orange Event at The Varsity Downtown on Saturday, August 4th at 10am!
Come Help Us Send Off the New Class of Metro Area Auburn Tigers
Meet us Saturday, August 4th for an 'All Auburn-All Orange' event at The Varsity Downtown. Yes, we'll be at the World's Largest and Oldest Drive-in for a couple of hours of Auburn Tiger pre-tailgate fun.
'All Auburn-All Orange' means show your Auburn colors, so we'll be looking for plenty of orange. We want to fill The Varsity with AU Tigers!
"What'll ya have ... what'll ya have..." You can eat or just meet-and-greet --- that's up to you. We just wanted to find a fun, no-fuss place to gather and share some Auburn spirit. The Varsity is an Atlanta institution and it's been serving its famed onion rings, fries, hotdogs and fried pies since 1928.
It's also one of the surest ways in Atlanta to ward off freshman year homesickness! And that's why we've invited the new class of metro area incoming AU Freshmen and their families to join us! So come join us for a unique Auburn pep rally right on Georgia Tech's doorstep! (It would be nice if they saw a lot of Auburn Club license plates!!) And help us send the new class of Tigers off to AU with some fun, Auburn spirit & smiles.
There is no cost to join us, but everyone is on their own for food and drink orders.
The Atlanta Auburn Club will be at The Varsity when it opens at 10am to set things up. Look for the orange Auburn shirts and the orange & blue balloons! We hope to see you on August 4th. War Eagle!!

Atlanta Auburn Club Group Outing: Braves vs. San Francisco, August 16th
Hotlanta and a long, hot Summer go hand-in-hand. Just like the Atlanta Braves and a visit visit to Turner Field!
The Giants' Barry
Bonds is on the threshold of baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron's career home
run record. Will Bonds pass Aaron's magical mark of 755
when he gets to Atlanta? And under the cloud of alleged steroid use,
will a 756th for Bonds be as sweet as Aaron's 755th was in 1976?
Make plans now to join the AAC on
Thursday, August 16 to watch the Atlanta Braves in action against the
San Francisco Giants. Game time is 7:35pm.
The
AAC has Lexus Level group tickets for this event. They are specially
priced at: $15/each (cash or check), or $15 + $1.50 postage and
handling/each (PayPal).
These tickets are selling very well, so don't wait too late to get yours! Limited seats are still available, so reserve yours now by emailing the Atlanta Auburn Club at: communications@atlantaauburnclub.org. |
