Greetings!
 Hi everyone it is time for those hampers to go the respective persons who have distinguished themselves in their group by their performance. We are already looking to TTUTA 10K and CLICO Marathon and 5K, so things are rolling on.
The year offers a number of road races, hikes, Dragon Boat Races and quite a number of outdoor and indoor activities to keep us all busy.
Reminding you all who participated in the UWI Half Marathon to come out and Meet - Up all the other participants who made up the CariFin UWI - Team in Training as we look forward to a bigger team in 2009.

The CariFin - UWI Half Marathon - Team in Training would like to celebrate its participation in the 2008 - UWI half marathon - with a team - Meet-Up and Special Prize Distribution.
It's the first time we are celebrating our involvement and participation in the UWI Half Marathon in this way.
This is a must attend event as a participant of the (80 plus) team or volunteer in this year's event. CariFin Team in Training is a fast growing movement which encourages the traditional 5 & 10K runner to step - up to the 20K or 13.1 miles distance in the name of Fitness, Fun & Friendship.
This meet - up and Prize Distribution is special in many ways being the first time we are introducing this event. It offers the unique opportunity to establish links with other CariFin and fitness enthusiasts and also long distance runners. This also gives the opportunity for people to see that a half marathon is also for ordinary people. (Just set your goals)
We at CariFin have always recognized that fitness though an individual's personal responsibility, needs our institution or organization to recognize these personal efforts and help encourage and motivate more and more participants to live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
That is why overall and age-group winners would be recognized for their efforts. Also to be recognized are the individuals who posted the best comments on our blog.
This event - CariFin UWI Half Marathon - Meet - up & Prize Distribution take place on Friday January 16, 2008 at the 3rd Floor Facilities, Central Bank from 5.30 pm.
