CariFin is getting ready for UWI SPEC International Half Marathon
 
UWI StartAmong the running community the buzz has to be "Getting Ready" for UWI SPEC International Half Marathon. Every where you see people running and training the one event on their lips is UWI International Half.
We in the financial services sector, is no different, existing in small pockets in a number of institutions are runners/walkers who are just as excited and looking forward to November 02, to be part of the 1000 people who will set off to cover the 13.1 miles /20K looped course.
All over the new media, like Facebook, Myspace and various blog people are exchanging ideas, talking, poking fun at each other as we get ready for UWI Half. 
 
Things have reach fever pitch point in the financial sector
 
The buzz have definitely caught up in the financial sector with phone calls and emails being sent to and fro as people want to know what CariFin is doing? Some who were not aware of our past effort (54 runners in 2007) seems to say, "What a great or novel idea it is to have a "Team in Training for UWI Half" and even wondered out loud - We should have been doing this long time".
