Coordinated Health/Care™ Eliminates Unnecessary Health Care Events and Reduces Costs
The Alliance's new partnership with Quantum Health gives members a new way to eliminate waste and reduce health care costs. This service is available to Alliance members with more than 200 employees on their self-funded health plan, even if only a small portion of their employees utilize The Alliance network.

Quantum's Coordinated Health/Care program removes the confusion, lack of coordination, and unnecessary spending of health care by linking patients with care coordinators. Care coordinators offer assistance in navigating the health care process and serve as a single point of contact for information and service on benefits, eligibility and claims. They also integrate all medical management activities into one system.

Quantum Health works with you to control your clients' health care costs by:
  • Eliminating unnecessary health care events and reducing costs
  • Helping employees and their family members navigate the health care system
  • Pinpointing potential waste and steering patients to more efficient care
  • Monitoring data for continuous improvement
  • Aligning their interests with the employer's by offering a fee schedule that pays only for results
Over the last 10 years, Coordinated Health/Care has held participating employers' health care cost trends to 4 to 5 percent, with no reduction in benefits or cost shifting to their employees, far below the comparable industry average of 10 to 12 percent. Read more.
