| Bus Service Comes to Sandwich!! | The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) has recently added two (2) new routes in the Upper Cape, one in Bourne and one in Sandwich. By implementing these routes, all fifteen (15) Cape Cod towns now have fixed route bus service. Both routes connect to CCRTA's Sealine route at Mashpee Commons, allowing passengers the opportunity to travel via public transportation all the way to Hyannis, with connections all the way to Provincetown. In addition, both routes maintain a Commuter Express route, beginning at 6:30 a.m. and 6:35 a.m. respectively. Passengers can flag down these buses anywhere along the route by waving their hand, rather than standing at one of the specified stops.

DIGNITY MEMORIAL & VFW BURIAL BENEFITS SEMINAR | |
Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home presents an:
Informational Workshop
at Sandwich Council on Aging 270 Quaker Meetinghouse Road, East Sandwich
Wednesday, March 7
1:00 p.m.
There are many myths about veteran's burial benefits. This seminar will help you make sure you don't make a costly mistake: While you may qualify as a veteran for certain burial benefits, they do not come automatically. In most cases someone must request them, and this can take considerable time and effort for your family. Veterans who participate in this program receive personal assistance to secure these benefits from the Veterans Administration.
R.S.V.P. to Tiffany E. Witte at 508-888-3511 or Jan Timmons at 508-888-4737 by Monday, March 5th |
