Your Support is Needed at Town Meeting
November 7th at 7pm | |
There are several warrant articles which the Chamber Board urges Sandwich residents to support which pertain to a healthy business climate and positioning us for good economic development in the areas of town we have designated as economic centers. Without passage of these articles good projects such as the development of the South Sandwich Village Center (sometimes referred to as the Golden Triangle) become much more difficult.
The Sandwich Chamber Board encourages members to attend town meeting and show the support of the business community for these articles which help Sandwich invest in its future. The entire warrant can be read here.
Watch a video clip on some of the issues below.

| Help "Adopt" a stretch of beautiful Route 6A | | |
Volunteering is great to give back, meet neighbors, and get fresh air - all while making 6A more beautiful!! Our last clean-up this year will be Saturday, Saturday, November 12th at 10:30am (rain date of Nov 20). With 8 volunteers it takes about an hour and a half. The more volunteers
the less time it will take, so feel free to ask family, friends, staff, etc. All hands are good hands (just over age 11).
Meet at the side parking lot of The Bee-Hive Tavern (smaller lot on the left as you face the building). The keys are to use insect spray, wear long pants, long sleeves and comfortable protective shoes or boots. Bugs, broken glass and poisin ivy are the enemies.
Volunteers must watch a 5 minute video on safety, which you can view here. We also need a release form.
