Greetings!
As we wind down 2011 and look to the New Year, Good Samaritan Ministries is excited for the future impact we will make together for our community. Coming alongside others to overcome obstacles and see new possibilities.
Your donations, volunteering and partnering are a very special gift to us and help to bring lasting change to our community and to people like Sharon...
In 2001, Sharon was homeless. Through the Community  Housing Program she learned valuable life skills and was connected to a church community that cared and supported her in a journey to recovery.
"Good Sam was there for me, encouraging me and mentoring me along the way. They made me feel worthwhile and gave me the self-confidence to make decisions that were hard," states Sharon.
Today, Sharon is a full time flight coordinator for Wings of Mercy. She is no longer on disability, has her own home and feels confident to face whatever life may bring.

 This year brings the last chance to take advantage of The Michigan State Tax Credit. As of January 2012, the tax credit will no longer apply to donations made to community foundations. Read more on how you can still save this year.
