The Dallas County Democratic Party (DCDP) has an entry in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration March/Parade on Saturday, January 15, 2011.
Assembly for the March/Parade begins at 8 AM in the horseshoe parking area of Dallas City Hall, 1500 Marilla St., Dallas, and the March/Parade will begin at 10 AM. Elected officials, community leaders and organizations, school bands and youth groups, churches and others will line up for the March. Dress comfortably -- it usually is cold and it is a 3.9 mile walk from City Hall to the MLK Center, at 2922 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
