Honorable Mentions - For the athletes that gave it their all.

swim startRob Alexander gets an honorable mention for placing 4th in his AG and 48th overall at the Clemson Sprint Tri- because it was his FIRST triathlon.

Lisa Hardin gets an honorable mention for setting a PR at the Escape From Alcatraz Tri despite riding 5 miles on a flat tire into transition.  Way to stay in the game Lisa.

Amy Kloner gets an HM for keeping it in perspective and not killing anyone.  She was having the race of her life at the Baja 70.3 after lopping an amazing 20 minutes off of last years bike split.  Feeling good on the run she was on her way to setting a half marathon PR- off the bike!  Unfortunately the course was so poorly marked and marshaled that athletes were sent in multiple directions and the run was disqualified.  Although gravely dissappointed she did not get the overall placement she deserved she is pleased with her fitness and looks forward to the next event.
